Ambassadors will be provided will be provided with Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner meals throughout the weekend at University of Delaware’s buffet-style dining hall (Breakfast will not be provided on Friday, and Dinner will not be provided on Sunday). Additional meals will be provided through the university’s Catering Services.
If you have any allergies/dietary restrictions, please indicate them on the Medical Records History Form as part of the Pre-Seminar Materials, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Each student will be provided housing for the weekend. Students will be housed in a residence hall at the University of Delaware that utilizes suite-style living. Every student will be assigned a roommate at the seminar, and two rooms (four people) will share a single bathroom. Rooms will include an extra-long twin bed, a desk and chair, a dresser, and an armoire. The entire residence hall is reserved exclusively for the seminar.
Housing costs are included in the student’s registration fee.

*If applicable, be sure to bring any prescription medication. Please bring only as much medication as will reasonably be needed during the HOBY event (3 days). Medication must be in its original container as labeled by the pharmacy. Please refer to the Policy for Use of Medication During a HOBY Event included in the Emergency Medical Information.
All transportation during the seminar (primarily, transportation to our service site) will be covered by HOBY Delaware. However, students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the seminar.
If possible, we encourage students to carpool with fellow students attending either from their school or local community.
